In 2008, after years of working with “top” agencies, I figured there had to be a better and more fulfilling way of doing things. These agencies were good at delivering one off projects, but not at supporting clients beyond this. Costly monthly retainers and underdelivering on future projects, led to clients being regularly dissatisfied and leaving, all of which seemed a pointless and expensive cycle for both sides.
I decided to setup a different kind of agency. We focused on long-term partnerships and retaining staff, combined with taking the time to properly understand a clients business and the problems they face. This has enabled us to support our clients far beyond a simple project by project approach. There are also no monthly retainer contracts needed, just expert help on tap whenever a client needs it.
The result has been long-term mutually successful partnerships with people many of whom we now count as friends. We are proud to have helped develop simple ideas into market leading online businesses which now attract millions of visitors per year.
